Hometown banking comes from our roots
We are pleased that you found First State Bank of Wyoming on the Internet. First State Bank of Wyoming has proudly served Wyoming, Minnesota and the surrounding community since 1914 when E. R. McClintick (Mac), with the help of a group of prominent citizens, organized the Bank. As a “full service” bank, it has provided friendly, personal and courteous service to the community.
Myles Giese began managing the bank in the 1970’s. His daughter, Bea along with her husband, Myron, remain leading the organization today with the help of their sons, Mark and Tim, and an experienced staff. The staff totals over 570 years of customer service at First State Bank of Wyoming. Our employees average over 15 years of service!
First State Bank of Wyoming is one of the strongest financial institutions in the county. With strong capital, profitability, and liquidity our performance often exceeds our peers. In addition to being a well performing bank, the community has rewarded First State Bank of Wyoming by making it the largest FDIC-insured depository in Chisago County. While it is an honor to be recognized as a superior financial institution, our greatest joy comes from giving back to the community we serve. Each year we pledge to give back over 2% of our gross earnings to charities.
First State Bank of Wyoming has played an important role in the growth and prosperity of the area. It is important to enjoy a friendly relationship with a sound financial institution. We hope you will allow us to show you the advantages of a “hometown” bank!
